Wayapa® is an earth connection practice that is based on ancient Indigenous wisdom that focuses on taking care of the Earth as the starting point for creating Earth Mind Body Spirit well-being. Enjoy a morning connection of earth mindfulness, narrative meditation and physical movement. A small reset on country to get you through the busy times. Please BYO mat or towel.

Marie is a Birri Gubba woman from North Queensland and feels very honoured to be able to share Wayapa with you all.

“This practice has given me the opportunity to rebirth the connect that I have been missing for sometime. Now to be able to help others reconnect to Earth and the spirituality that they hold within, gives me a sense of gratitude and fulfilment.”

Marie has an extensive background and education working with Young People, Women and Children experiencing Domestic Violence and Individuals at risk or vulnerable, so you can feel safe and know this practice is inclusive and accessible to everyone.

Chair Yoga Jimboomba

This class is ideal for those who may find it difficult to attend regular yoga on the floor. The class is done on a chair using props for support. This is a great class to get the body moving, improve your flexibility, relax the mind and build up your strength. Suitable for all abilities and for those with injuries.

Teacher – Bistra Atanassova

Bistra began teaching Yoga in 2014 and has since been continuously developing her skills and knowledge ranging from restorative and yin yoga, power and Yoga for BJJ, to more specialised variations like chair yoga and aqua yoga. She has experience in working with people from all walks of life, from martial artists and weightlifters, to cyclists, swimmers, and gymnasts, as well as people who have been injured, or are living with mental illness and anxiety. Her ambition is to help those in need and provide them with tools to be able to heal themselves and continually develop in their own time beyond classes. Bistra is a calm, intuitive, and adaptive instructor who listens and understands the needs of clients to provide the most effective practice to suit them physically, mentally and emotionally.

Gentle Yoga & Meditation

A gentle class that combines movement, to stretch and strengthen the body, breathing and meditation practices to focus and calm the mind,  leaving your body and mind feeling stronger and more relaxed.
