“Practiced yoga personally for over 30 years and have been teaching for 4 years. My studies include Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga for Healthy Ageing and Anatomy and am also a Meditation Teacher.
What I love about my job is meeting people and being able to help others through yoga and meditation. It is a lovely spot to start a Sunday morning together”.

Teacher - Trudy
I personally have had a lot of back issues, including two operations on my lower back, and I’ve even taught yoga from a wheelchair at times.
Trudy has been teaching yoga for 8 years. Her main focus of teaching is for mobility, flexibility and to alleviate back aches and pains. Using personal experience and training, she brings them together to help as many people as she can by making classes adaptable to all.

Teacher - Deb
Working in a professional field supporting Children and their families for over 20 years, Deb initially completed her Kids Yoga Teacher Training in 2017. She then felt it was time to begin her new journey as a mature aged woman. Learning about how her mind and body operates, she “fell in love with Yoga” and completed her yoga training for “grown ups”, now perusing her dreams of being a successful yoga teacher for all ages and abilities.

Teacher - Nusch
Nusch is a qualified yoga and meditation teacher and Reiki practitioner who has studied a variety of disciplines including Kundalini, Hatha, Iyengar, restorative, Yin and chair yoga. Nusch is particularly passionate about creating a supportive environment for mature-age students to discover how yoga and meditation can support physical strength as we age, as well as supporting our mental and spiritual wellbeing.

Teacher - Deb
Working in a professional field supporting Children and their families for over 20 years, Deb has lots of experience working with children with disabilities. Her personal experience as a carer for her grandson having Cerebral palsy and autism means she is incredibly patient and passionate about making yoga accessible for all. You do not have to be a client of Holistic Horizons to come to this class, it is open to people with disabilities and their carers.


North Lakes Chair Yoga

Teacher - Toni
Toni emigrated to Port Macquarie from the UK with her family (husband Chris and son Zac) in 2009. A few years ago she was increasingly drawn to yoga and the beautiful benefits the practice can have on your mind as well as your body. After recovering from major surgery in early 2019 the call to become a yoga teacher was the direct focus Toni needed. “My goal is to share my passion and knowledge of yoga, connecting with your breath, connecting with fellow yogis.”
